MergedHash
Checking pool status…

One address. ECX plus merged coins, from the same hashrate.

Point any SHA-256 miner here with your bc1 address. Every share you send mines ECX and our direct-paid merged coins at the same time. When you find a block on one of them, the reward is written straight to your address in that block. Coins marked Pool wallet are paid to the pool operator, not to miners. No extra wallets to set up, no balances held, 1% fee.

How merged mining works

Merged-mined coins accept proof-of-work done for another chain. Your miner does the work once; the pool checks every share against every coin.

1You connect once

Username is your bc1 address. That's the only address you ever give us.

→
2Each job covers every coin

The ECX block template carries a commitment to a block on each merged coin, built to pay you.

→
3Any coin can hit

A share that beats a coin's target becomes a block on that coin, paying 99% to your address and 1% fee.

Coins mined with your hashrate

ECX is the parent chain. The "Paid to" column shows where each coin's block reward goes. Status updates live from the pool.

CoinPaid toStatusHeightBlocks found

A coin shows Active once its node is synced and the pool is mining it. Coins marked Pool wallet are mined by the pool and their rewards go to the pool operator's wallet, not to miners. Not all of them can move to direct payouts. Only coins marked Your bc1 key pay you. Hathor (and later Elastos) are opt-in bonuses. Coins marked Coming soon are being added.

Ways to mine

Solo Live

ECX solo mining, now with merged coins on top. Find a block on ECX or a coin marked Your bc1 key and you get the whole reward, minus 1%, paid in the block itself. Best for anyone who wants the full block.

Shared (PPLNS) Live

Port 3338. Every block found on this port pays everyone who mined recently, by their share of the work, straight from the block itself, minus 1%. Steadier, smaller rewards. No balances, no payout fees: the pool never holds your coins.

Your own node Supported

Run your own ECX or merged-coin node and point the pool software at it. The pool code is open to self-host on Windows.

Before you connect
  • Use a bc1q… address from a wallet where you hold the private key or seed. That key controls your ECX and your merged-coin rewards.
  • Never use an exchange deposit address. Coins sent there may be lost.
  • If your miner checks the coinbase (AxeOS / Nerd*OS), allow a 1% pool fee output.
  • Block rewards are spendable after 100 confirmations on each coin.

Bonus coins: get every reward

Your miner only has one address box, and that stays your bc1 address. Bonus coins like Hathor need a different kind of address, so you put that address in your miner's Password box instead. Same miner, same connection, no account.

  1. Get a Hathor address (one time). Install the official Hathor wallet on your phone or computer, create a wallet, write down its recovery words on paper, then tap Receive and copy the address. It starts with H, e.g. HAbc123…xyz789.
Ledger users: install the Hathor app in Ledger Wallet (My Ledger → App catalog), open the Hathor desktop wallet, choose Hardware wallet, and copy the H address it shows.
  2. Open your miner's pool settings. Bitaxe / NerdQAxe / NerdOctaxe (AxeOS): open the miner's web page → Settings (or Pool). Antminer / Whatsminer: Miner Configuration → Pools.
  3. Fill in the three boxes like this:
    Pool URLstratum+tcp://stratum.mergedhash.com:3335 User / Walletbc1q…yourBitcoinAddress.rig1 Passwordx,htr=H…yourHathorAddress
Bitaxe-style miners have separate boxes for URL (stratum.mergedhash.com) and port (3335).
  4. Save and restart the miner. That's it: you mine ECX and our direct-paid merged coins with your bc1 address, plus Hathor to your H address.

Don't want Hathor?

Leave the password as x. You still get ECX and all bc1-paid merged coins.

Password box too short?

The full line is about 40 characters. If your miner cuts it off, use the shortest form with no spaces: htr=H…

Why not my bc1 address?

Hathor wallets make keys differently from Bitcoin wallets, so a converted bc1 address couldn't be spent from a normal Hathor wallet. Your own H address keeps the rewards yours.

Hathor merged mining is being added now. Set your Hathor address today and it starts paying automatically the moment Hathor goes live on the pool. Future bonus coins (such as Elastos) will use the same password box, e.g. x,htr=H…,ela=E….

FAQ

Do I need a wallet address for every merged coin?

Mostly no. Coins marked "Your bc1 key" are paid to the same key behind your bc1 address: on coins with SegWit that's the same bc1 address, on older coins it's the legacy address of the same key. Hathor is the exception: it needs its own Hathor address, added in your password field. See Bonus coins.

Solo or shared: which port should I use?

Solo (port 3335): if your miner finds a block, you get that whole block minus 1%. Big but rare. Shared (port 3338): every block found by anyone on the shared port pays everyone in the recent-shares window (PPLNS), in proportion to their work, minus 1%. Smaller but more often. Either way the reward is written straight to your address in the block: no pool balance, no withdrawals, no payout fees. On shared, a share too small to be worth a coin output (it would cost more than about 1% to spend) gets no output in that block; it keeps counting until a later block pays you. Merged coins on shared: those marked "Your bc1 key" (and Hathor, if you set htr=). Coins marked "Pool wallet" are solo only for now. NerdOS miners can split hashrate, e.g. 90% solo and 10% shared.

How do I spend the merged coins?

Import the same private key (or seed) into that coin's wallet, or sweep it with a tool you trust. Only do this with wallets from the coin's official site. If you'd rather not reuse a key, ask us to set a different payout address for a specific coin.

What does the 1% fee cover?

On every block paid to miners, 1% of the reward goes to the pool's address inside the same coinbase, and 99% goes to you. The pool never holds your coins.

Does merged mining slow down my ECX mining?

No. Your ECX odds are exactly the same. The merged coins come from the same work at no extra hashrate or power.

What are my odds?

Solo mining is a lottery on each coin: your chance of a block equals your share of that coin's network hashrate. Most large merged coins have difficulty close to Bitcoin's, so small miners should expect long waits and full rewards when a block hits.

Which address types work?

bc1q (recommended) and 1… addresses work on every coin. bc1p (Taproot) and 3… addresses are paid only on coins where they're safe; for others, ask us to set a coin-specific address.

Is this an official ECX pool?

No. MergedHash is independent and not affiliated with ecash.com, LayerTwo Labs, or any merged coin project.
